Ingredients
- Octinoxate 7.5%
- Octisalate 5.0%
- Octocrylene 10%
- Oxybenzone 6.0%
Other Ingredients: Polysilicon, Silicon Dioxide, Isopropyl Myristate
Octinoxate functions as a sunscreen. Silicones are polymers that are made of repeating units of siloxane which are a chain of alternating silicon atoms and oxygen atoms that are often combined with carbon or hydrogen. They work by healing scars and by protecting the scarred tissues from bacteria, increasing hydration of the stratum corneum and by balancing the expression of growth factors. It increases hydration of the stratum which facilitates regulation of fibroblast production and also reduces collagen production. Certain growth factors stimulate fibroblasts to synthesize more collagen and other growth factors increase the level of collagenases which break down the excess collagen.

Our Conclusive Review About BioCorneum
BioCorneum appears to be a decent scar treatment. It’s primary ingredient has been shown to have the ability to reduce the appearance of scars and is one of the most popular ingredients in scar treatments and this product is backed by a manufacturer’s guarantee which is always reassuring. However, while it is backed by a guarantee, their policy is weak. They only offer 45 days to get a refund which is only a small fraction of the time it will take to notice results and all returns are subject to a restocking fee of at least 15% of your purchase. Considering the expensive price, that can add up to a significant amount. Furthermore, it appears that although the price is expensive, you do not get what you pay for. The consumer feedback we saw indicated that this treatment does not work. With so many scar treatments available on the market, you are better off choosing one that has been shown to be effective and is backed by a strong manufacturer’s guarantee for consumer protection.
