Stretch marks are not the end of the world but it is normal to yearn for smooth, blemish-free skin. This pink, raised marks which occur during a rapid growth phase such as puberty, pregnancy or weight gain can lead to permanent, discolored stripes on the inner thigh, breasts, stomach, hips and buttocks although they can appear almost anywhere. Today we review Stretch Mark Minimizer by well-known beauty house, Clarins. Clarins says their minimizer takes extensive action on stretch marks through their house innovation, crowberry, and centella extract.

This long list of ingredients is not entirely like some others in that the mineral compounds are designed to penetrate deeply, nourish, moisturize and effect cell repair, particularly to the mitochondrial walls. This reverses aging somewhat and mostly slows it down. The main ingredient to take note of is Centella Asiatica, a plant native to Asia, Australia and Africa. It was chosen for its healing, soothing (anti inflammatory) properties. It is not used often in other stretch mark creams and so this is what sets the Clarins formulation apart. Scientists are only just beginning to understand its healing properties and how it works. So far what we know is that it is packed with potent anti-aging phytochemicals and is a dense blend of nutrients that feed the skin in many ways. It is rich in phytochemicals, amino acids, beta carotene and fatty acids .

However not much is known about its ability to break down scar tissue and then restore collagen-like flexibility and elasticity. The manufacturer has not disclosed any evidence of the sort or made any possible in-house trials and studies relating to this widely known, if at all. Crowberry has great anti oxidant properties and helps fight free radicals, and keeps skin firm. Crowberry itself is not an innovation but the way it is assimilated and used in the product could be, although no information is provided.

Our Conclusive Review About Clarins Stretch Mark Minimizer

Despite the high price tag, Stretch Mark Minimizer does have its followers and quite a few people who claim that the product works quite well. Certainly, it is formulated with two unique ingredients that are not readily found in other creams.

Perhaps if you are an existing Clarins adherent and have faith in their general product line, and know that their products don’t set off any allergies for you, you may be inclined to try this. If you’re brand new to Clarins, remember you can’t use it and get a refund. Perhaps try the sample bottle instead – it appears you can get a free one online, but it is not clear what you have to do to qualify for one. Sometimes free samples are available in store. But, in the absence of scientific evidence by way of clinical trials from Clarin or other published studies, it is hard to conclude definitively in this case that paying more equals getting a better product.
